Rules of the Site

Welcome to the Still & Serene Photography Club, a online community where photographers from all skill levels can share their passion for photography. Our platform was made to be an inspiring space where our memebers can submit their photos, chat with other memebers, and participate in monthly contests.

To maintain honesty in our community, it’s important that everyone follows our guidelines. These rules make sure that everything is fair and respecful for all participants and helps us keep the website enjoyable for everyone.

This Rule page will help all our participants understand the expectations for their photographs in our contests. Each submission must follow our guidelines. Photographs MUST be taken by the member submitting it in, and all images must be in JPEG, PNG, or a GIF. Submissions that violate copyright, contain inappropriate content, or do not follow category guidelines will be disqualified. These rules are designed to maintain fairness and uphold the integrity of our monthly contests. If everyone follows the rules, everyone can focus on expressing their creativity without being concerned about unfairness.

Also, each member can only cast one vote per image, and some personal information is required to vote. This guidelines help our community keep up its fair voting process, and ensures that the winning photograph is accurately from our members. Our members are HIGHLY encouraged to read all rules.

Photo Submission Guidelines

• file formats must be in: JPEG, PNG, GIF. Please convert before submitting.
• Maximum file size is 1MB.
• Photos must be appropriate. Anything inappropriate will be removed immediately.
• All submissions must be within our specified categories.
• Photos must be your own original work. Plagiarism is NOT acceptable.
• The deadline for our monthly contest submissions is 11:59 PM on the last day of the month.

Site Rules

• Any inappropriate behavior or content in the chat is not acceptable.
• Violating any rules may get you temporary suspensioned or permanently banned from the site.
